Kathryn Lammers heads H&L’s family law department. She is a skilled advocate with years of experience representing clients in all aspects of family law.
Ms. Lammers was named a Rising Star in a survey by Minnesota Law & Politics. The publication asked Minnesota’s top lawyers to identify an elite group of emerging lawyers, either under the age of 40 or in practice less than 10 years, who have demonstrated the highest standards of excellence. Katie was one of only several hundred lawyers in Minnesota chosen as a Rising Star. Katie Lammers has earned the distinction of Rising Star for the year 2011.
Ms. Lammers believes that being a good lawyer requires more than just an understanding of the legal issues. She believes a good lawyer has good instincts and empathy and can analyze the symptoms of larger issues and address both the symptoms and the issues intelligently and effectively. Ms. Lammers will listen carefully to your concerns, promptly return your telephone calls, minimize attorney fees where possible, and guide your case efficiently and effectively so you can move forward with your life.
While Ms. Lammers has solid litigation and courtroom experience, she promotes the financial and emotional advantages of resolving family law cases through mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
A skilled communicator and writer, Ms. Lammers received her BA from Arizona State University in Broadcast Journalism and her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law.
Ms. Lammers is a member of the Amdahl Inn of Court, the Family Law Bush League and was a former Minneapolis Commissioner on the Minneapolis Commission on Civil Rights.
